Returns & Cancellations

Because many Vianne Lane pieces are custom-made, specially sourced, resized, altered, or created around a particular stone, return eligibility depends on the type of purchase.

Ready-to-ship jewelry
Finished, non-custom jewelry may be returned within 7 days of delivery if it is unworn, unaltered, undamaged, and returned in its original packaging. Return shipping must be insured and is the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable.

Custom and made-to-order jewelry
Custom, made-to-order, resized, engraved, altered, or otherwise personalized pieces are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund.

Loose Diamonds & Gemstones
Loose diamonds and gemstones that are part of Vianne Lane’s current in-stock inventory may be returned within 7 days of delivery if they are in their original condition, have not been set, altered, chipped, damaged, or modified, and are returned with all original certification and documentation. Returns must be authorized in advance and shipped back fully insured.

Sourcing deposits
Private Stone Sourcing deposits and Custom-Cut Sourcing deposits are nonrefundable. When applicable, the deposit is applied toward the purchase price of the selected stone. Additional sourcing may require a new deposit if the included sourcing rounds do not result in a selection.

Custom-cut stones
Once custom cutting has been authorized or work has begun, the request cannot be canceled or refunded. Finished dimensions, carat weight, color, and other characteristics may vary from initial estimates because of rough availability, feasibility, and cutting yield.

CAD approval and production
Once the final CAD has been approved in writing and the $500 nonrefundable production deposit has been paid, production may begin. After production has started, the order cannot be canceled or refunded. The production deposit is applied toward the final cost of the piece.

Damaged or incorrect items
If an item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, contact Vianne Lane as soon as possible after delivery so we can review the issue and determine the appropriate resolution. Please keep all original packaging and documentation.

Return authorization
Eligible returns must be approved by Vianne Lane before being shipped back. Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.

Refunds
Approved refunds are issued after the returned item has been received and inspected. Any refund will be made to the original form of payment.
