Beyond Traditional Sourcing

In addition to traditional white diamonds, Vianne Lane sources fancy-colored diamonds, antique inspired, cuts, and uncommon gemstone varieties selected for individuality and presence.

We are able to source elongated proportions, custom cuts, antique faceting styles, and specialty stones not typically found through traditional retail inventory.

Each sourcing request is approached collaboratively and refined around the final vision of the piece.

Sourcing Terms

Private Stone Sourcing
A $100 non-refundable sourcing deposit begins your private search and includes up to two curated sourcing rounds. Your deposit is applied toward the purchase price of the stone you select.

Custom-Cut Sourcing
Custom-cut requests require a $200 non-refundable sourcing deposit, applied toward the purchase price of the custom-cut stone you select. Custom cutting is subject to rough availability, feasibility, estimated yield, and final pricing. Because finished dimensions, carat weight, color, and other characteristics cannot be guaranteed before cutting, final specifications may vary from initial estimates. Once custom cutting has been authorized or work has begun, the request cannot be canceled or changed without possible additional costs.

Because diamonds and gemstones may be available through shared supplier inventory, availability and pricing are subject to change until a stone is secured. If neither sourcing round results in a selection, additional sourcing may require a new sourcing deposit.

**Client -Provided Stones must be inspected and approved by Vianne Lane before custom design or production begins. Vianne Lane reserves the right to decline any stone considered unsuitable for setting.**
